Water in the energetics is used primarily as a raw material “supporting” the extraction of other raw materials. It is pumped under pressure to the gas fields or oil deposits, so the hydrocarbons are “squeezed” onto the surface. The water remaining in a deposit is heavily polluted due to the contact with, e.g. crude oil. The largest amount of water is consumed in the process of black coal extraction, where it is primarily used for raw coal descaling.
Thus, for the mining industry, we produce tanks in which water is the medium. Those are:
- Heat exchangers,
- Buffer tanks,
- Hot utility water reservoirs,
- Hydrophore tanks.
