Mechanical cutting of plates with guillotine shear is applied mainly to thin plates, with thickness under 12 mm. We own machines for cutting plates of following dimensions:
Guillotine shear – max width 3000mm – cutting plates up to 10 mm* thickness
Guillotine shear – max width 2000mm – cutting plates up to 2 mm thickness
Guillotine shear – max width 1500 mm – cutting plates up to 1,5 mm thickness
*With narrower plates and for steel grades of yield stress lower than 235 MPa it is possible to cut plates up to 12 mm thick.
Mechanical cutting of pipes and shapes is carried out by means of frame saws and circular saws.
